In the bedroom of a small flat in La Mosson, a suburb of Montpellier in France, Luisa and her cousins gather on the eve of a Roma wedding to talk about their dreams, desires, the traditions they grew up in, and what an emancipated life could look like. Singing flamenco has become, for Luisa, a ritual that opens up a space of freedom. This intimate short documentary, written in collaboration with the women who appear in it, moves to the rhythms of the palmas and the duende of flamenco, which have become for Luisa a space of freedom. Perret draws a portrait of women brimming with life and paradoxes, through the eye of a camera that dances along and, above all, listens.
