The Vuren program includes three short films that deal with displacement and the longing for a home. Through poetry, song, and a distinctly cinematic style, these films depict the experience of being a newcomer, being exiled, fleeing, or just wanting to leave. How does one appropriate the feeling of being at home somewhere? The films show a fundamental and universal search for belonging.

Branden will be screened with Ma'loul Celebrates Its Destruction and/or Bamssi. At some screenings, one of the filmmakers will be present to participate in a discussion after the film.
